Session overview:

KanREN has partnered with Palo Alto to provide a no-cost training opportunity for staff from memberorganizations. This one-day in-person training event will focus on cybersecurity topics and will takeplace at KanREN’s office in Lawrence. In the morning, members will receive a threat briefing with theopportunity to ask additional questions. After a catered lunch, participants will participate in a technicalhands-on session and be given instruction and access to a sandbox environment with Palo Alto’s SASEsolution, Prisma Access. While this event is tailored for higher education, staff from other organizationsmay find it beneficial.

Goals and objectives:

• Raise awareness of current cybersecurity threats

• Build practice skills with SOC solution

• Improve threat detection and response efficiency and incident response

• Network and learn with peers from member organizations
